Launch a VNS3 Controller from a private AMI


  • From the EC2 tab at the top of the AWS Console, Click AMIs in the left column menu under the IMAGES section
  • Search by the AMI ID Cohesive Networks sent you (ex, ami-123abc45) 
  • In the AMI window make sure to select Private AMIs from the drop-down menu

Don't see an AMI?
You might be in the wrong AWS region. AMIs are region-specific.  You can switch regions quickly from the dropdown in the upper right side menu. Once you find your AMI it should look like this:
